Do you enjoy being on the water? Have you ever caught a fish? Join the CMMA family to gain the skill and knowledge to master the art of fishing.
Fishing with family creates opportunities to learn about nature, acquire different skills, and make lifelong memories. Spending a weekend together outdoors is a great way for families to relax in a peaceful environment -- away from the stress and interruptions of daily life.
This Fishing course covers everything from fishing for beginners and other fishing basics to in-depth details about gear and how to fish in different environments.
When you arrive at the course:
Pay the fee to the instructor.
Attend the entire course.
Take the written exam and get at least 75% correct to pass.
Upon successful completion, you will receive an Education certification.

Into the woods, we go! Have you ever wanted to learn how to hunt?
CMMA Hunting Class covers the techniques of small game hunting and equipment overview. Our Instructors will teach MD Hunting laws, Hunter Safety Education, First Aid, Common Injuries, what to do....and so much more.

DISCLAIMER NOTE: CMMA will prepare mentees to take the Maryland Hunters Safety Certification test for obtaining a hunting license and going on a hunting expedition. CMMA can NOT certify mentees, only prepare them for the test.

Archery Equipment Classification: Students will learn the techniques of the art of using Archery Equipment
From the Fields to the Table: Learn about food safety, cleaning, and prepping to cook.
Introduction to Taxidermy: An introduction to learning the steps of preserving animals.
Introduction to Hydrographics: Also known as water transfer printing, immersion printing, or hydro-dipping, students will learn about how hydrographic films are transferred by water onto three-dimensional surfaces.
Extended Course: Taxidermy and Hydrographics, this course covers the following:
How to skin for mounting purposes
How to prepare the skin for tanning
Learning about the reference points
Learn how to split and turn ears/eyes
Mannikin preparation
Securing skin to mannikin

After completing your Hunting Safety Certification, you will be eligible to go hunting for small game animals on private land for the first time
